Best of all the lake is open for barramundi fishing all year round. It’s also a great source of black bream and red claw yabbies!
Get out onto the water in a canoe or a boat – day and night canoe tours are available from Yungaburra on the waters around Tinaroo, you can hire canoes from Lake Tinaroo Caravan Park, plus you can paddle your own timber handmade canoe at the Mareeba Wetlands.
