  • Backpackers Operators Association NSW
    BOA NSW is the industry association for professionals and businesses in the backpacker sector of the tourism industry.
    We are a not-for-profit organisation, directed by a membership elected executive committee. Committee members come from all sector of the industry, which ensures broad representation.
    Our members are accepted into one of the three membership categories: Hostel Business (sub-divided according to number of beds), Other Backpacker Businesses (sub-divided according to number of employees) and Associate/Non-Voting (for industry suppliers and other stakeholders). All members are required to comply with the Code of Conduct and Objects and Rules.

    Shipwreck Coast Marketing's primary function is to undertake the external promotion of the region, whilst fostering the development of the region's tourism industry. Its intention is to boost visitor numbers, length of stay and visitor expenditure resulting in increased employment and growth of the regional economy.
